The picture above is of a delicious asparagus and rice soup that I made. I’ll post the recipe once the first blush of love has passed (i.e., in a few days)!

Yaaaay! I have a sinus infection, and I’m exhausted, and it’s gray and ugly outside today… BUT, it’s my partner’s birthday, and I just finished cooking him a rather good birthday dinner, if I do say so myself. AND it’s Friday, and the weekend will be spent sleeping in, recovering from said sinus infection, and seeing friends I haven’t seen in ages. So, while I may not have time to make a lovely asparagus soup this weekend, i’m still going to copy your optimism - and, eventually, your soup, once you post the recipe. Because it looks like just what I need!
